Snow?!?

I made it in today. Had to wait an hour or so later than usual for the ice on my road to start melting but the more main roads were all fine.

No new snow since mid afternoon yesterday here.

I didn't actually make that one - we were just surprised to find a snowman my height (6'5") so I got my photo taken with it!

quick question, will a car with smaller thinner wheels do better in the snow than a car with bigger thicker ones? my brother seems to think that it will, i suspect he's just making excuses not to lend me his car (focus, which he doesn't need incidentally cos he's selling it and already has a replacement) cos i seriously don't feel safe in my little ford Ka

should possibly be in the car thread but the question is snow related so i'll stick it here
