Snow?!?

Well have to say been up since 5 am and our boilers broken (not firing up)more bad news, but in all my 38 yrs i dont think ive seen us have so much Snow and at first i was happy for it to be a white Xmas but now its getting pretty thick here in Manc to worrying levels..My girls have a 20 min walk to school and back but thats not happenng whilst its like this and its snowing very heavy again as i type this...Sigh!!

Snowfest here again today, like a ft of it and its still pooring down. Why do i have to live across the rd from where i work!!!

I've posted in this thread in the post noting my jealousy that we never get any of the snow around our way whenever the rest of the country gets it, but I wake up this morning, and open my blinds to this.

Probably about 5-6 inches thick and still snowing a little too.

Tried to get the car off the drive but it wasn't having it. Telephoned work and said I'll try and get in later but I reckon I'm settled for the day now.

LOADS of snow where I was at work today. So I came home. Only to find no snow. Glad I missed rush hour though.

Just drove from Bristol to Sherston (near Tetbury if you know it) - bristol was snowing hard and here in my lovely little village we're close to 3 inches in the last hour - and it's still chucking it down. Get in there!

Made a snowman in the back garden this morning and all the patches of snow that we used up are now as good as filled again. It's barely stopped falling all day.
