Working on VPN from home today. Not much work coming in of course, as no-one I support is at work either!

Our boss let us go though, 20 minutes before I was finished anyway.

Had two posties deliver to us today Jebus, if that's any consolation? And yep, still loads of snow.

We had about 4cm from yesterday evening (and last night) here in Bedford, but it looks like its just started back up again.
It hasn't been too bad here, the main problem is when it freezes over at night and the pavements become slippery, then it's really quite annoying.

I'm in Bedford too. I've just sent some of my team home who live further away and they have phoned me to say the roads are really dangerous at the moment.

I'll be here until six though as I live within walking distance.

I'm in Queens Park, at home in front of a nice warm computer monitor using up the rest of my annual leave. Looks like there's a snowball war out there, kids around here are pretty malicious with the snowballs, they get told off by the police every 5 mins.

had a bunch of kids throwing snowballs at our (and presumably other people's) door. Until they were screamed at (quite literally, we don't have the classiest neighbours around) that is.

I was doing that until the VPN shat out through the load. Supposed to be for Operations teams only in extreme weather conditions, but no, numpty project managers get in there first.

I walked in this morning. The 20 journey taking over 1 hour. Bloody lethal too!

Closing at 4pm which is too late for my liking. Not many other places are open either.

Been trying to ship a PS3 and a 360 to a couple of members on here this week. The Post Office have been most unhelpful by closing at the first sight of snow. Today I'm working from home though so with the aid of my daughter's sledge I was able to get them both off!!

Just had a text from the schools saying they're closed again tomorrow. Doesn't look like I'll be getting in again either, I cleared a lot of the garden making the snowman earlier and it's covering up again nicely!
