Anyone had their wisdom teeth out?

I had one out on Friday and was wondering how long it took for them to heal up.

Which is another way of saying, anyone think I'll be able to eat at a bbq this weekend?

I just dropped my 27th Durham Beer Festival glass while walking through the kitchen. It literally leapt out of my hand and went bouncing along the laminate.

It didn't smash - I'm still shaking with shock! The near destruction of a legendary glass.

        Close call indeed.

I dropped my old Adnams pint glass two weekends ago; I actually nearly cried.

I've made the decision to buy three glasses at the next festival - one for use, one for shelf-sitting and one to be locked away in an emergency case.

Edit: I'm still really shaken up...

One of the girls in my house accidentally broke my Leffe glass yesterday. Still gutted

The other day while loading up the dishwasher, I managed to knock two pint glasses that were on the side onto the floor. I love those glasses as we used them at our wedding. Miraculously, neither of them smashed into smithereens! Not even a chip or a crack, so if you need to drop but not break your glassware, this obviously the right time of year to do it, judging by mine and the previous posts! My condolenses ET and Buddhaman, we feel your pain.

Everytime I come on here, that Team America Matt Daaaaaaaaaaaaamon pic makes me laugh - can he be the NTSC-UK mascot?!

This site has been well slow since Sunday. At times it's ok, but last night and this morning have been pretty bad. I'm guessing all the E3 talk may have something to do with it.

Anyone know where I could get a couple of dirt cheap foldaway camping chairs, y'know....the ones with the drinks holders in the arms? Do Asda or Tesco do that sort of thing in their larger stores? Cheers

                    Asda do them.
Cost me about 8 quid for two big uns.
                    (£8 each you understand)

                      Ah right, thanks JB.

Looking online, Tesco have a pack of 2 (with carry bags) for £12 (all in you understand). They fold, they have drinks holder, and carry bags - perfect

Think I'll pop out to Asda and Tesco this evening and have a look see. May check out Woolies at lunchtime too. Might also see if I could get a funky lil foldaway table too.

I'm eyeing up some garden seats and tables too. Going to tackle my 'meadow' tonight and see if I can smarten it up. The grass has grown from seed, so this will be it's first cut.

                            .
If you can, try to get ones with metal oversized frames, they're usually called something daft like MAN SIZED or something. The ones with any plastic tubing on them tend to phail after a couple of uses.
(This is just in my experience you understand)

Cheers for the advice dude - will check before purchasing

Yeah the Tesco one's have metal frames (steel) and the fabric is polyester - they've only really got to last a 3 day weekend - any more will be a lovely bonus you understand

My Missus just alerted me to 'the boy from retro gamer or something' on the radio, and sure enough, our very own Strider aka Darren Jones was waxing lyrical about space invaders on BBC Radio Scotland!
