I picked up some Nike trainers for cheap yesterday, the first sports trainers I've bought since my Shox a few years back. I've been somewhat reluctant in previous years as I don't want to look chavvy, when worn with jeans however there's no such chance.

Feels good to have springy-bouncy under my feet again. ^^

On my way home in the car last night.

Suddenly the sky bursts bright cyan for about half a second. I'm not talking about a firework going off - this was the entire sky. The light source appeared to be behind us. Both Lucy and I shouted WTF or similar and then all went back to normal. I was expecting a thunderclap, but none.

I don't think we were abducted because Lucy was on the phone to her sister at the time, so no time loss

Does the BBC have a stake in Twitter by any chance? The amount they have been going on about it recently (especially on Radio 1 which every time I hear any show they mention it) seems a bit suspect to me.

What's the point of twitter anyway?

Glad it's not just me that noticed. I actually made a complaint on the BBC Website after watching "Something for the Weekend" last week. CONSTANT advertising of Twitter. This week, they said "we wont go on about it, as I know it bores some people" and referred to it as a blogging site, instead of by name.

Suggest you do the same. I asked if they wanted to advertise my business for free as well but got no reply

As for Twitter itself, well, I signed up, posted a few things and got bored of it. I know a few people that are addicted to it though. I'm sure they think that people care when they go to the toilet etc...
