Sorry to hear about that dude! Can you claim on the insurance? On the bright side, now you can go get a newer sat nav model! Or use yah iphone (or so im lead to believe).

You should do what Charlie Bear always does.........have a back up save or two when you save

I could claim on the insurance but my excess is about £450 so I don't think it is really worth it (plus I don't have £450 spare)

bah I've been sitting here waiting for the best part of 14 hours for the CSI style people to arrive (as per my instructions last night and this morning) but they haven't turned up yet.

So I called the police station again and told them about my wait and they put me through to the crime scene department and they've just told me that I shouldn't of waited and that they will call me to arrange a convinient time.

All while my car is sitting in the street with no friggin window.

You're wasting your time. I had my car windows smashed in, in an attempt to either steal something from the glove box or nick the car (they failed on both counts). CSI:Birmingham came, and dusted the car down but surprise surprise couldn't get a clean finger print.

May as well get onto your insurers, pay your windscreen excess so they call out Autoglass (or whoever), stick a claim in for the Sat Nav, and get back to plotting how you're going to kill and/or maim, the people who did this.
