Had a power cut at 5am and because my UPS was beeping I woke up. Thought I might as well plug the batphone in and report it so that it's back on by the time I wake up. The number I had on my phone for the electric company emergency line had expired. So rather fearfully I called 118118 because I couldn't remember 118848 or 118226 (cheap ones). The quickly go the number and asked if I wanted to be put through. I couldn't see because it was dark, so said yes. The whole thing from start to finish took just over a minute. It cost ?2.30.... The power of advertising.
