Sadly life isn't meant to be lived sitting in front of a computer screen all day long in order to afford shelter and food either.

Don't bother getting mindlessly drunk in the evenings. You can do that any time back home and missing a day because you are hung over is the worst. It's an expensive week and it's wrong to cock it up.

Take pain killers and anti inflamatories. Ooooo and get some "compeed" blister patches.

Wait till you are out there to see what the weather is like before kitting up on things balaclavas and handwarmer pouches. If it's warm, you won't need them.
I'll be with my girlfriends parents so not really any chance of getting massively drunk. We're going to la rosière in France for a week as they own an appartment there and go twice a year so this might become quite a regularish thing for me. I went to T K max but they didn't have my size in the jackets they were all too large. So I went to a outdoor action place in town to try on pants and jackets and found a nice helly hanson and north face jacket but didnt buy just yet as i'm thinking of popping into london next weekend to visit snow and rock.

Do you know of any other good stores with lots of choice in london?

oh and i found some gloves, well mitts actually, which are dakine gore-tex with a nosewipe thumb panel

Feeling really good about things at the mo...

Have had a few family troubles over the past couple of years, but that all seems to be settling somewhat now thank goodness... And life with me and the misses (and her little one) is better then it's been for a while.

As for jobs: Next Monday I've got an interview for my ultimate dream job (don't want to say what it is though, just in case I jinx it!) and am also finalizing the details to teach my own style of martial arts and also to take an art class one night a week for extra pennys. On top of that, i'm loving getting back into my reviewing (not wrote one since Mario Galaxy! but am loving writing for Little King's Story) and am also finishing my book that'll hopefully get published next year *touches wood* I've unfortunately got no official training in any of these areas (due to ill-health I missed the last year and a half of school - still managed two A*s though! aha! - and college wasn't right for me), but I've passionately taught myself art, writing, etc over the years, so these job prospects all seem a little too-good-to-be-true.

Life hasn't been the easiest, but I suppose that makes these things all the brighter.

So, cheers guys. Truly. I've been a member of these forums for over seven years now... and i couldn't be without it. Things have certainly changed, but somehow Ntsc-uk has always felt like home. It's one of the friendliest places to be. Much love to you all!

                    *raises beer*

                      Edward Woodward has died

The subject of one of my fave "jokes" too, so I'll bring it out in tribute:

Why does Edward Woodward have 4 "d"s in his name?
Because otherwise he'd be Ewar Woowar.

Why does this not even surprise me?

I wonder if, in real life, somebody that was framed for a crime and then went on the run to prove their innocence, like Dr. Richard Kimble in The Fugitive, would be let off if they managed to find evidence?

Or would they be charged with avoiding arrest?

I wonder if Colonel Decker had actually caught up the the A-Team, he'd say:
"You were wrongly imprisoned for a crime you didn't commit, however I have to charge you with the following offences:
                            Illegal possesion of a firearm
                            Illegal use of a firearm
                            Illegal Bounty Hunting
                            Black Mail
                            Helicopter Theft
                            Carjacking
                            Grand Theft Auto
                            Allowing Mental Health Patients escape
                            Impersonating a policeman
                            Disturbing the peace
                            Creating explosives
                            Setting off explosions
                            And many more offences."

Imagine the rush after that! Someone that isn't used to a stadium full of people cheering. It must have been awesome.
