My disk drive that sounds the grating of the gates of hell would argue otherwise...

I've hardly used it since buying it in 2006 in anticipation of MGS4 and now the drive is making horrible noises and won't accept disks. Sony want ?130 for an out of warranty repair. Not likely.

I tried standing it vertically and it worked briefly and then went back to being bad horizontal and vertical. I never thought to try that, I'll give it a go when I get in.

Anyone else find it annoying when the thieving dustbin men take all your magazines.

Every other week when the recyling bins are collected, the dustbin men can't wait to get to my bins and find a pile of the most recent gaming magazines, like Edge, Games tm, retro gamer etc.

I've resorted to cutting up the inside pages recently. STAY AWAY FROM MY BINS, FOOLS!

Going through someone's bins is scummy, I grant you that, but if you've thrown them out then what's the problem if someone else wishes to make use of them?
