I love the way they always have the 'victim' looking irrevocably wounded in the photograph of these types of non-story. This one has the double bubble of a farty little kid pulling his best 'I didn't want that' Christmas-morning face.

Something tells me she'll be back there before long, what with it being a 99p store and that. We can't keep away from them forever.

The cafe next to my office sells these nice cake slices I buy almost every morning but one was mouldy. Luckily I saw it before I started eating(it was on the underside) so I took it back and got different one. I also got all of that particular type out of the fridge and handed them over because they all had it(coconut I think) and the use-by date had gone, but the others were fine. I know it's bad etc etc but I haven't had it happen before or since.

In my case, the cakes are in clear plastic wrappers so it just takes a quick glance to check but I'd be more concerned if it was something you can't visually check. Mind you, I check the dates on everything before buying, because sometimes they miss things.
