At what point does a religious "day off" get recognised and implemented like that ? If I put my kid in school and tell the teachers he worships at the shrine of Mickey Mouse and needs Friday 4th Feb, Wed 19th Nov and January 5-10th off is that going to be applied to all pupils & teachers ?
it's ****ed up - I presume Polish public holidays will be the next applied ><

Well in my class there would be only about 6 kids left out of a class of 26. Seems pointless opening the school and stuff for such a few kids, you will need dinner ladies, office staff, teachers caretakers etc for a handfull of kids. Only schools in certain areas are shut, and as I said earlier I expect we will have to pay the day back sometime in the summer.

Surprised that Cannock Chase is on there given that they said:
Widely referred to as the ‘green heart of Staffordshire’, Cannock Chase is a rich canvas of woodlands, heathlands and valleys. It’s also the smallest Area of Outstanding National Beauty in mainland Britain at 26 square miles, which is more than enough wide open space to get away from the rat race for a short while.

Had a bit of wild one on Saturday,
went out for a few beers in Glasgow to my usual haunt met a few friends (one of which is a member of an exclusive members only club) so we all went there and hung out with Glasgow's rich and famous.
As the night went on some dude took a fancy to one of the Girls we were with and started sending over massive bottles of Dom Pen for our table then they Invited us back to his Penthouse for a party with lots of columbia's finest :P
Awsome
