Having worked in Macdonalds I wont eat there.

There were maggots in the kitchen one summer, they were there for about a week. They wouldn't shut the store because it would damage profits. Lovely times, cooking burgers in a hot kitchen with an aroma of rotting food being consumed by maggots.

Then there was the time a bird flew into a vat of boiling oil. It was like the end of terminator 2

      LOL

I had a bacon roll in there this morning. Hadn't had a breakfast from there for yonks. The roll was lovely - it was actually a proper roll, and the bacon tasted of bacon.

Would have a breakfast off the wife any day of the week though, hers are ace.

I used to work there too. One day the "fish station" fell off the wall and the tartare sauce "gun" gracefully sailed towards the ground, pump end first and landed pointing straight up. It then proceeded to fire a jet of sauce at the ceiling which then splatted and dropped back down to earth at a wider radius. Not pleasant.

Did you know: those beef patties are cooked from frozen in 42 seconds.

Maybe this needs its own thread for max effect........

Bank Holiday in November?... Yes please!
Number 10 Downing Street has approved a petition that was launched requesting a new public holiday falling on the Monday after Remembrance Sunday in November each year. To be known as the National Remembrance Holiday , it's got three aims: 1. To emphasise the remembrance of those servicemen and women who have given, and continue to give, their lives for Britain 2. To remind people of the importance of protecting our Nation and what it stands for; 3. To break that 3 month period between the August Public Holiday and Christmas when there are currently no long weekends, especially as the UK has fewer public holidays than most European Countries. If you agree to the idea, please sign up to the petition - it doesn't take long - and it would be great if you were to forward the link to other people as well. If you are not interested, just hit the delete key. This is not just about another bank holiday, but more importantly about having a designated day to remember all those people that sacrificed their lives for our freedom. THIS IS A NOTABLE PETITION THAT THE GOVERNMENT HAVE ASKED FOR PLEASE SIGN IF YOU WANT AN EXTRA BANK HOLIDAY . http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/remembermonday/

              Meh, freedom is overrated.

              This one's much more important:

I can't do McDonald's. Just one look inside the shop at the gormless faces of the customers and the greasy skinned teenagers behind the counter is enough to suppress my appetite

What were the Guardian thinking? This gets rightly destroyed in the comments. Either a nepo-tastic crapfest, or some viral ad for Skins or summat? Either way, excrutiatiing (sic) to the max

Just got our local Echo - turns out the lad who does the deliveries for our local kebab house has been banged up for his role in stabbing someone to death. It was that Sercan one - always seemed like a nice lad. Shame for all involved really.

It is actually. I had the heating on in the car today, never have it on ever usually, but my hands were hurting from the cold. Looking forward to getting home and warming my hands up with some Devil May Cry 4.
