Yup, missed a few break points now. Good time for a break to sort himself out. Ages to go left in this match!

Unlucky Murray, just outplayed by a better player. With a bit of luck on his side I'm sure he's got at least one grand slam in him.
Great to see Roger Federer back as world number one though. I would love to see him have an end of career renaissance and get up to the magical twenty mark in grand slam wins, before he packs it in.

Glad Federer won, still don't like Murray, doesn't come across as the role model the other big three are and his game doesn't excite either.
Still, as I've said before I fully expect him to win multiple Grand Slam's before he retires but I think his chances are better at the US and Australian Open's on hard courts.

That said, I agree about Murray's game for the most part - his game has long been re-active, whereas Federer, Nadal & Djokovic play pro-active tennis with them always looking to force the issue in games.
Hopefully Murray can learn from yesterday's match and maintain the style of play he had in the first set and a half against Federer. If he can become more attacking, then he definitely has it in him to win a major.

A woman at work described his performance as "sh*t" and "he gave up".
I'd like to see how she does against the world number 1 and arguably the greatest player the game has seen.
He was outplayed, but I'd never say he played "sh*t". He was amazing in that first set and returned many shots that seemed impossible to get to.
The same woman hates Back to the Future but won't hear a bad thing against George Michael, so I don't rate her opinion particularly highly.

A bet placed on Wimbledon champion Roger Federer nearly a decade ago has netted more than ?100,000 for Oxfam.
