Scary thing is though it looks like it's aimed at the Middle East and Asian markets who are into big cars on the high end rather than sports cars.

It could be worse. I had a Honda 'piece o' ****', designed for old grannies, when my car was in the body shop. The interior was literally white tiger (imagine that) with fake 'pine panelling'. Classy, I tell ya.

I think that is obviously based on the VW concept BlueSport. The Audi looks better, actually.



EDIT: Autoblog is suggesting that the Audi is a magazine rendering, not an official Audi press shot.

Why would Audi make a direct competitor in their own range to the TT? That is def a rendering too. It's identical to the Bluesport in most areas and there is no way on earth that Audi would release a car that looks the same as a VW even if they are basically the same car.

Had a great drive in today on quiet dry roads, love my country roads commute, best part of the day.

Mid engine could be the angle, if it goes into production. A true two seater as the TT is still a coupe. I suppose a rival to the Boxster, new Z4, etc..
