Whilst trying to drag myself away from Super Hexagon, I discovered some really wonderful arcade-like games.
The graphics are soooo 80's retro looking, Not seen graphics so retro looking in ages... I especially love the scanlines!
Do yourself and get them as they are both free!
Electro Master
Hungry Master

Just thought I would recommend a game I have been working on that was released yesterday on the app store. E.T The Green Planet! Its a freemium game on IOS. I work as a 3D/2D artist so I created alot of the world environment and the plants. Here is the link!
Its free so give it a bash even if freemium isn't your thing!

well devils attourney is out and oh goodness is it fun. Ill say it now, do not expect phoenix wright style courtroom battles. It's not that kind of game however there is strategy involved, the turn based battles are fun.
Not sure how big the game will be but enjoying it so far, theres no sign of in app purchases so its looking promising that itsnot just a feew cases before your forced to buy more. Oh and the fab intro posted a few posts back is in the game YAY

Can anyone tell me how the iPhone version of Broken Sword compares to the DS one?
I've picked my wife a copy of the DS version up as a Christmas present, but she's lost her DS and is looking for murder mystery games on her new iPhone that I won.
Should I try and source a 2nd hand DS or count my losses and just get her some iTunes vouchers?
You can buy apps with iTunes vouchers, can't I?
Thanks, team!

Also, more importantly, Carmageddon has been out on iOS for a few days now, and is fantastic. It's pretty much identical to the original as far as I can tell - same silly handling, and the fact that it was designed to be controlled using arrow keys means that the touch screen controls are surprisingly effective. I played it on both iPhone and iPad (iCloud saving helps!), and both versions are very playable. It's still a highly addictive game, and currently on sale I believe...
