Which is odd, as when I do a search for the movie through the app store, it's still coming up as 10 quid.

Are these freebies only free through the 12 days app or something?

If you bring up the one that isn't free, there is a "Related product" of the same name, it loads up the free one in the store, black background.

I must say, a free movie is impressive, I've not seen it but I may as well watch it even if I've heard it's awful.

Just finished watching it...

Not a huge fan of the two of them anyway, but it was quite funny in places. At the end of the day it was free and I didn't finish it wanting my 90 minutes back!

I really dont know why they dont do this more often, after all, it doesn't actually cost them anything, so you might as well give away a few freebies every now and then to keep people interested in the iTunes store.

Well this is certainly a crock of ****, my lesbian vampire killers download from Thursday never finished downloading and now when I try and restart it there's an error.

And of course the link to the freebie is gone now, ****ing typical and what's even more stupid is how, unlike the app store, movies and TV shows only appear on your 'purchased' once they've downloaded, not once you've 'paid' for them.

Can't you redownload them from you account?

If it's the error you get from a download being interupted and it won't resume you need to delete the temporary file, then it will redownload ok.

I really wouldn't get too upset about it either way, it's not like it's the best movie out there.

I can't re-download it as the only link that was offering it for nowt was taken down - where do I find the temporary file?

And hey, I've been known to enjoy films that have been universally panned, as well as hate ones with a passion which critics have spunked over.

Downloaded Piyo Blocks today which is a nice little Japanese style puzzler with openfeint support for leaderboards and acheivements, it's currently free until new year so it'll probably be back to full price in the next day or so.
