People might want to try Free Apps, it keeps track of chargeable Apps which are being offered free for a limited time.

It's probably not updated as often as it should be so the more recent sale items won't be listed yet but I've managed to get absolutely loads of things for free because of it.

Sorry for this, then, but Aztec Quest is awesome! You have to fit elements together to make a marble run, Screwball Scramble style.

Only 59p! There's a level editor and downloadable levels too.

i tried the lite version and found it a bit fiddly to play.

Orbital is my time sink at the moment.

Thanks to John for the "Free Apps" link by the way...

As for Aztec Quest, I'll need to try the lite version first.

Anyone had the balls to try this in public yet?

It's basically laser-tag using the iPhone camera as an augmented reality scope that you shoot your opponents with to score. It tracks different players on the colour of their t-shirts and in a few nice touches you shake the phone to reload and if you score a hit it vibrates your opponents phone.

Nice idea but the idea of me running around the streets shooting my mate with my phone is a bit too much... I do like how it has a hit list for shooting celebrities though!

audio puzzle is quite neat, its takes songs on your phone and turns them into simple linear jigsaw puzzles where you have to put the pieces in order to put the song back in order.

novelty might wear off quickly but pretty cool

last 12 days app is a poxy foo fighters video (poxy cos I can't stand them)

Thanks for the Aztec Quest recc. It's a bit like a basic version of The Incredible Machine, which is one of my favourite games ever. Thus this is teh awesome.

Beat It! is 59p this weekend.

some of these games are strangely addictive, I'm a bit hooked on Sneezies (59p and lite free available), its a one finger jobbie where you set off a change reaction of sneezes to explode bubbles containing cute little critter things, no great depth to it but nice presentation and a few modes make it all strangely compelling.

I seem to have a 2-3 app a day habit at the moment

I also can't stop playing with the National Rail Enquiries app, as a London commuter you tend to get a bit train weather obsessed anyway but watching trains move along your line on this proved a big battery drain yesterday.

Also there are still codes available for 3 months free of sky sports on via wi-fi on the phone if you sign up to the full £6 a month service, you can cancel before payment starts. We watched the end of the test perfectly via iphone yesterday arvo.

I've gone from being an Iphone denyer to obsessive in 3 wks.

It's a good game. I'm still hanging on to 4th in the world on Sydney (Night).
