Still loving PvsZ. I've slowed down now as I don't want it to end.

cluck it is a nice looking 59p one button take on frogger.

each time you press anywhere on screen your chicken (and chick) take one step fwd into the traffic then walk in the direction its moving until you press again into next lane. idea being to get all your chicks across to the other side.

very simple mechanic but new levels add more lanes, different types of traffic etc, very polished for 59p and was apparently the #1 paid app in Kuwait !

Does anyone know of any apps based on Countdown, or at least the numbers game from it? Basically this but not looking so crap.

Wow, now you mention it I am shocked there is no Countdown app!

I got my mum the official DS countdown game at xmas for £15. she loved the letters but the numbers is quite tricky to input your workings as they all have to go in within the 30secs, so you may have it in your head but can't input it in time.

very faithful version of the game and no Jeff Stelling or crumpet who does the numbers..

doesn't answer the iphone question but thought i'd chip in anyway.

Fly kiwi fly is excellent, like shopping cart hero with more skill and only 59p

                    Word. Hyper Right Turbo.

I'll pay Capcom ?5.99 to keep that game away from me.

PositionApp looks interesing and is currently free, provides real time app store chart info in different categories or regions, could be good for sniffing out hidden gems not featured in the main store

First two final fantasy titles have gone up today, they sound a tad pricey at 5.45 each.

Was hoping they'd do a deal for the pair but alas no

Been playing plants vs Zombies a lot. Couldn't get into it on the PC (played it in a period when I was OD'ing on Tower Defence) but it's the kind of game that's perfect for the iPhone. I did lol a fair bit at the

Kenken: Train your Brain is down to 59p for a bit. It's like Sudoku but better (though you need basic maths skillz)

love Kenken, way better than Sudoku, really nicely done and works great on phone, top tip for 59p

That's not bad seeing as the same game minus touch controls is ?15 on the PSP.
The price pressure on the App store is going to stop developers from taking the chance on producing games with good production values as it just won't be economical to do so.
