Yeah, and the women are even worse!

That's exactly what I tell people when they say how 'barbaric' it all is. It's not even as barbaric as boxing. Noobs!

Can't wait for Jones v Cormier and really invested in the Rousey situation with Carano at the moment.

Silva - I have no idea. I lost ?100 when he broke his leg!

Frankly Ronda Rousey scares me, she's always knocking out her opponents in seconds no doubt to get back to pokemon...

Rousey seems more interested in Hollywood than MMA, but Dana won't let her go, don't know how many fights she has left on her contract.

'Rowdy' has said in past interviews that she does'nt want to be in the sport to long as she would like to start a family. I think she inferred to the fact that it 'maybe' considered detrimental to her health to have a family if she were to continue to fight for a sustained period of time.

Dread to think what would happen if you tried to throw her around the bed, lol.

Reports like this are worrying though, always liked the fella too since seeing him on the Ultimate Fighter years back, he won some and lost some, but always gave his all

After an 11-year career that was spent mostly in MMA's major organizations, UFC and IFL vet Krzysztof Soszynski has announced his retirement while citing concerns about his brain health. \

What a great time to be a MMA fan, all the Conor McGregor hype and victories and his upcoming fight against Aldo.

UFC last weekend, this weekend and then the big one. Silva v Diaz the following weekend.

Don't know how Cerrone won on points last weekend, he looked as shocked as I did when Brucie read out the verdict.

Be pretty pissed if you had paid for the last two Rousey pay per view events, 30 seconds combined and two title defences done.
What was Zigano thinking? hope she gets a re-match later in the year.

                  Watched the 'fight' this morning.

Zigano tried to start too fast and not think she's mixing it up with a judo Olympic medalist.

Hard to see anyone at Rousey's weight giving her a tough time in the Octagon. Re-match will no doubt be the same outcome, tho' perhaps not so quick.

Yeah woke up excited to watch this one. Worst gameplan in the history of fighting?!

Yep Zigano should have kept it on the feet for as long as possible.

Rousey won't do a catch weight fight with Cyborg, she wants her down at 135lbs and no more. Cyborg is now signed to Zuffa it seems. Can see her point though, from an interview I saw, Cyborg is well known for weighing in a few pounds overwight quite frequently.

Plus the disrespect she has shown her over the years for juicing.

Yes call her an "it" was a classy moment.

Hopefully a Zigano rematch will be on the cards, and pretty soon. How gutting to spend say four months training and about $20K for it all to be pissed away in seconds.

Well, Rousey is going to film a movie then will need a 3 month camp so I think end of the year now for her.

Probably, shame though, suppose they need time to build the PPV views etc. Be interesting to see how the PPV take up was last weekend with two female bouts being the main events. And to think it was only 3 or 4 years ago Dana White said no females in the UFC.

                              Another quality Rousey quote
Although speculation as to whether Gina Carano could be headed to the UFC has died down in recent months, that doesn’t mean bantamweight champ Ronda Rousey isn’t still willing to face the star at 140 pounds. It also doesn’t mean, however, that Rousey would do the same for Invicta featherweight champ, Cris “Cyborg” Justino…

Yes, if you’ve noticed, Rousey has been fielding plenty of questions regarding a bout with “Cyborg” once again. Not long ago, Justino said her plans to move to 135 had been ditched, but more recently there’s been reports that the UFC has reopened talks with the former Strikeforce champ. The plan being that “Cyborg” would move to 135 for an all-star bout with Rousey.

While it remains to be seen what happens with Justino, Rousey appeared on the latest edition of “UFC Tonight“, and was asked about the possibility of fighting “Cyborg” at 140.

“No. I’m not making an exception for a cheater. The only one I’ll make an exception for is Gina Carano because she’s such a pioneer in the sport. I’d be honored to fight her.”

The “cheater” remark is in reference to the fact that “Cyborg” tested positive for steroids back in 2011

Good UFC event this past weekend with the odd upset along the way.

who would have ever thought Pettis would lose a fight by 50 to 45 on points

How Esparza was the champion was amazing, never seen a champion so out-skilled and overwhelmed by such a margin. She was basically a punch bag on legs waiting for the inevitable.
