Most people blame Tony's labour govement for the state of the nation. Tony now stands for the EU, BNP totally reject the EU = more 'misguided' BNP votes.

As for the hidden hand different people think different things I guess. So much disinformation mixed with real you could get lost. Some people think the world is getting along nicely on its own, I happen to take the view it is being lead down a very dark path.

EDIT: On and why else would the media try and make him sound Credible if not to serve a purpose? if a purpose who's purpose and to what end? There are enough soundbites to make him sound like a fool but they chose to make him sound credible. What does that say to you?

The 'media' isn't trying to make him sound credible though- he's been on Question Time once, that's it. Have you got any newspaper articles, any clips from TV that are trying to make him credible, besides this one appearance on QT? I get the very strong impression that the media doesn't like him much, much less that he is some sort of puppet in a shadowy conspiracy with vague notions of us going 'down a very dark path'. I can't be arsed getting into a debate about consipiracy theories, but I will say that they are always good at skewing facts retrospectively to fit around things that have already happened. They tend not to be so hot on the prediction side of things (which they would be if they were true).

I was referring to the UK channels who are covered by Ofcom or whoever it is rules, not Fox 'News'.

The fact of the matter is, this country is screwed right across the board from crime, to social issues, to the economy, education and complete lack of industry. It's a complete toss hole, a third rate european country.

The three main parties have over seen this for decades while lining their own pockets. Since the end of WW2 its been a steady nose dive into oblivion. The only alternatives are don't vote or vote for a fringe party such as the BNP(who may be awful or not)

Third rate European? Where do you live?! I've been to places like Prague and Budapest which are meant to be among the best cities in Europe and overall they are both terrible compared to any city in the UK. A nice bit in the middle then you are into the slums, basically. Most European places look like that.

The UK is largely fine, and thats due to the massive amount of tax we all pay.

The GMTV segments were an eye opener. They highlighted some of the statements he made and didn't play the counter arguments. It was almost like a party broadcast, a statement of policies direct from the horse's mouth, which we knew anyway.

My Grandparents lived through all that and they see the Country as less than useless now.

Also for a lot league tables we are fast approaching being near bottom for most of them for stuff like Education, jobs and child welfare. This country stinks and the head in the sand I'm alright attitude just makes it worse.

That William Cooper book- did you mean "Behold a Pale Horse"? I was just googling it. From a cursory search it doesn't exactly look like some sort of definitive evidence for conspiracies. And as for 1984, well I don't really know what to say in response to that.

QT was a bit stupid last night id did turn into the obvious "im a black person do you hate me personally Nick Griffin".

BNP may have largly bad values, and try to represent a form of acceptable racsim in their modern guise, but some of what Griffin says is of merit.
