Water, gas and electric will run you around £70 to £100 a month depending upon usage.
Dont forget food, phone/internet bills and TV licence!

Indeed, but that's just it I was MAD in love... Maybe a bit to much on the mad side

Do I actually need a TV Licence if I'm not watching the TV? Would just be games & dvd's?

You wouldn't, no. But I'd be writing to the TV licencing people and letting them know what the situation is so they don't start threatening you.

Anyway, talk to the jobcenter, see if they can arrange a council flat or emergency accommodation. If the alternative is living on the streets they'll act, even if you are the worst possible benefits receiver (youngish single male).

If your TV is capable of receiving a broadcast, then yeah, you'll need a TV licence.

Looks like emergency accomodation for you! I was in a similar situation and ended up staying in a homeless shelter. It really was as grim as it sounds!

Feck so tv licence it is, still I will get cbeebies so when I have the little girl to stay that will make her happy

Totally trying to stay positive but it is so hard, I managed to find my GBA micro, but no games! D'oh!

If I do get a privately rented place I'd have to have 2 jobs (chance would be a fine thing), and still have no spare cash?? And i'd be knackered and never be able to meet anyone wtf's going on!!!?

Sorry to hear about your current situation mate. Theres so many things that u forget about when it comes to bills. Jobs are pretty hard to come by too.

What happened with u & the Polish lass then? (if its ok to ask)

According to the tv licence site you only need a licence if you watch or record tv programmes as they are been shown on tv.

From what i have read elsewhere they have to prove you are watching programmes as opposed to you proving you dont.

As for the rest it seems that the more unlawful you are the more you get looked after.

My next door neighbour has rented his house out and the dss are paying for a mother and her numerous offspring.

The oldest boy is in the jail for nicking cars and the second oldest torched a car which caused the council to kick them out of their council house.Now they are beside me ,the three youngest are never at school and the mother and older daughter get taxis everywhere.The social workers are never away from the house yet nothing changes.

I was feeling pretty down, she spent all night talking to her country folk in their tongue. Basically I felt invisible, even though for the first half of the evening I entertain the others as she was at work.

Went out for a smoke, she refrained (1st time ever).. The air hit me, I got a bit hmm?

Watched her just talk about whatever with this guy (couldn't understand what was being said). Felt like walking in and spreading him across the house, but had another smoke to see if she would be like oh where has he got to? Nothing...

So after half hour or so outside, I go in and do what at the time seemed like a good thing...

And say "is the something going on I dont know about?" Everyone turns round drunk and confused... So I put it hardcore basics "Are you two F****** each other?"

Then the entire house erupts at me and no-one answers my original question? My ex is telling me to **** *** whilst taking half my t-shirt with her. The guy gets up and walks, so I suprisingly calmly follow asking wtf is going on? Still litterally zero english being spoken

So whilst surrounded in a corridor with people shouting, pulling and pushing me. Im like "you ******* polish are.." I get interrupted by the ex's cousin calling me a racist (wtf)? And I continue with what I was trying to say "you ******* polish are.. all talking polish I CANT UNDERSTAND YOU!!" The guests go, my ex and housemates go upstairs cussing me big time? The ex comes down 30 mins later and says she has been with the guy for ages etc...? She was lying she said it to get me vexed but I was simply *ah well, never mind bye*. After a while she tells me she has not been with him but after me saying that one thing its all over and GTFO!

There was more after that but I can't be arsed to type it atm...

What I didn't know:
The guy was married and his wife was there

I said to the ex's cousin at the start of the evening that the girl in question was good looking, he then told my ex, that I thought she was uber hot and was going to run off with her?? (WTF I never looked at anyone in that way, I was head over heels with me ex fool!
My drink had been topped up by others all night whilst I was DJ'ing hence me being battered.

What I learned:
The people I lived with played me for a mug big time!
I need to learn the entire language of the next GF.
That sometimes it is probably better to beat someone to death, you only get the same amount of grief trying to be calm

I know I should have potentially used better grammar but at the time that was angelic for me..

I spoke to everyone the next morning and apologised to all, the housemates just turned their backs on me (2.5 years we knew each other, the 2 guests they have known for 2 months). I did loads for them inc getting jobs, help buying stuff, letting them move in with us etc?

I tried talking to the ex begging for forgiveness etc, asking a million times but NO. We still speak if I contact her, and the night before I left 6 days after the BBQ, she was full on kissing me etc and asking for cuddles in bed? Then being all like but we aint having sex, I pointed out to her she started the kissing holding and sex talk? Then it happened again so I just left the room and went to bed.

You do not need a TV license unless you are watching programmes at the same time as they are being broadcast. Anyone who says otherwise is wrong. Trust me
