When were you in and around Kingston then Charles? I know Samir's but then again, I've been abouts for most of my life. The local to me is literally on the doorstep, always do a good chicken kebab with lots of salad if you can't be arsed to cook. Even the rotating rat is decent...

Our regular is Rupeyal, not only is there food amazing but they have online ordering at www.rupeyal.com !!

Usually go for the Special Kebab which is Chicken tikka, Lamb Tikka, Shish and Donner on Naan for £5, Salad and sauce choices of course and the Naan can be upgraded to a garlic, cheese, peshwari etc for 60p. The Chicken is soooo tender, lamb is really spicy and the shish is full of green chilli, i usually have salad and sweetcorn relish but now and then i go for mayo and chilli.

Usually also have a Kathalama from the starters menu for £1.50, i've never seen these anywhere else. They're like the keema meat in a dough but its fried ( i think ) so the dough is crispy but soft, they're pretty hot and come with a mint dip and about a big as a normal Naan, £1.50 they are bargain!

Curry's, SFC, Pizzas ( usually **** at kebab houses ) are also ****ing awesome, if theres a few of use we go for their Meal Deal 3 which is any 16 inch pizza, 4 pieces of SFC, Donner meat and chips and a bottle of coke for £14.50.

Any orders over £12 you can have a bottle of coke or 5 poppadoms, great when you get a curry order as you get the poppadoms free!

Georges in Leeds do/used to do a fantastic multi-meat kebab, for over a quid less - though in a pitta - but in years of getting them, I never had a bad one, though it's been a good 24 months since I last had one (counting the calories, you see...) Anyway, that thing had so much meat, even my legs used to feel full, I could barely move anything bodily without wanting to fall asleep.

Oh, yeah, and Sky Pizza in Leeds, they do very nice Asian/Apna-style pizzas, they seem to have pizza 'chefs' who care about their foods - not greasy, cheese-basted crap, just keema and chicken-packed, low-grease, Indian quality flavours. Even when it's wack, and you get a cheesefest chef, you'll still get a pizza that's way better than the local competitors, not as greasy. They pack the meat right in, no gay pun intended, just nice food.

nothing better than eating a quality kebab and laughing at the name, Abrakebabra always made me giggle

My favourite is a shashlik kebab (Lamb, peppers and mushrooms)

Its just the nicest kebab in the world and i generally don't eat lamb as i find it rubbery, but the shashlik is amazing

I treated Buster to a kebab last time he was down. Not a bad shout but then he sms a pic of a scottish munchie box in some sort of greasy takeout oneupmanship. I phail in comparison to what the sweaties get served up....is craze.
