HotUKDeals. Every time a decent offer pops up on there we get a few jackals trying to empty our inventory to trade it in elsewhere or profit from the discount on eBay. When they don't get their own way they kick up a fuss and start moaning.

Edit: Not to mention that it spoils the offer for people who might be genuinely interested.

Add to that cash machines that take ages before taking in your card, let you type your pin, ask for money, then decide that is the best time to say "sorry this machine hasn't got any money"

why not just have it displayed on the screen in the first place rather than waste mine and many other peoples time ffs

Parcel companies that offer 24 hour delivery. Now I'm not expecting a parcel to picked up by the courier & 100% guarantee delivery the next day. 2 days is fine by me, but its been a wk now & it still hasnt arrived, & I've got 1 really pissed off ebay buyer to deal with now because of all of this despite the fact that the postage was free & it came out of MY pocket.
Add to that theres no phone number to contact, only a parcel query page on their website which states that it'll take up to 24 hrs to contact me regarding it, which they did, only to tell me they're looking into it.

The only game I play online is Blur. I've won probably 70% of my races since saturday and since then my rep has gone from 100% to 70% with 85% of that for being 'unsporting'!

95% of people on Live are tragic, teenage losers. Been a long time, apart from MW2, that I ahve played anything on Live. When on MW2 I mute most people within he first 10 seconds of a match.

I got 2 letters from my optician in the past month telling me I needed my contact lense check up asap, and if I didn't have the check up they wouldn't keep posting my lenses to me. So I ring up make the appointment and cycle down there today, turns out I don't need a check up and it was all I mistake. Cheers for wasting my morning specsavers.

On the subject of online gaming my big pet peeve at the moment are teams on FIFA Clubs mode who play formations that are effectively 7-0-3 with all 7 defensive players in their own penalty box. It totally ruins the game but, more annoyingly, it works. It shouldn't work, if a team played like that in real life they'd never score, but for some reason having no midfield does

Ordering stuff for delivery.

Ordered a load of stuff from B&Q last week, to be delivered yesterday. Delivery was split into two consignments, the bits I didn't need until later arrived in the morning, the other stuff not at all. Being delivered by one of their 'partners' - ie sloped responsibility. Waited in phone Q for over an hour before giving up, got through to them this morning and surprise surprise they didn't have my delivery scheduled for yesterday even though that was date selected and confirmed last week. Now being delivered on Friday. Grrrrr.

Bonus that I can work from home means I won't lose any work/holiday time because of this but that's not the point.

Delivered on Friday - at 17:45. At least it was in the delivery window of 08:00 to 18:00 I suppose!

The reaction to that is way overblown and is why internet vigilanteism scares me. I'm always paranoid I could get targetted like that because someone doesn't like a forum post I made or whatever. Never done anything worthy of a lynch mob but it's so incredibly easy to piss the net off.

Tried to keep my presence on social networks to an absolute minimum to avoid me ever being traced but sadly family members posting about me has given my real identity a presence online that'll now stay forever *sigh*

Anyhow, just let the RSPCA deal with this. I doubt the woman intended to put the cat's life at serious risk, just to play a trick on it.

A car has been parked outside of my house for two months without moving. It bugs me. The thing is taxed unfortunately, so theres little I can do about it.
