Ordering stuff for delivery.

Ordered a load of stuff from B&Q last week, to be delivered yesterday. Delivery was split into two consignments, the bits I didn't need until later arrived in the morning, the other stuff not at all. Being delivered by one of their 'partners' - ie sloped responsibility. Waited in phone Q for over an hour before giving up, got through to them this morning and surprise surprise they didn't have my delivery scheduled for yesterday even though that was date selected and confirmed last week. Now being delivered on Friday. Grrrrr.

Bonus that I can work from home means I won't lose any work/holiday time because of this but that's not the point.

On the back of the latest Rock Band 3 song anouncement here is another irk. Why do they keep chosing songs that has been on the rival's game already? There is a good 5 or so songs already that I already have in Guitar Hero, and GH is just as guilty of it as well.

Rammstein have six studio albums, why choose Du Hast for GH5 AND RB3?

My estate. The housing company builder people have been busy on a piece of land at the entrance of the estate for months and months. They block the road with their fat arse trucks, dig up the road and paths opposite, and generally make the place a stinky, messy chicane of irkability. They're so slow, James May could have made them all out of lego by now.

It's their most successful song, so I assume they picked it because of that. I agree though, there's so much they could have chosen. Didn't one of the games include Regular John, Avon and How to Handle a Rope. By the way, QOTSA are in my opinion the finest band on this planet.

Went on my break today, rolled a ciggy and sparked up. Just as a gust of wind blew and wouldn't you know it, the ash flew into my eye.

It's nice all day, yet as soon as I decide to go out, it starts pissing it down. When I'm wearing shorts.
