Yeah they only wear them at the school for PE, but I just don't think it's acceptable that they get to lose the plimsoles I paid my hard earned money for and offer my boy the skank-pair whilst no doubt one of the dole-scum parents gets to save a few quid on them.

I can already see bullying in its earliest stages rearing it's head at this school to be honest.

Oh and if they swear in front of my boy again, don't worry, they'll get the message. I'm done with asking nicely now.

Peeps who give limp ass hand shakes or weak ass hugs!

A good firm hand shake and a nice decent embrace is not the be all and end all, but what is the point in going through the motions if you dont mean it?!

One of the most dissatisfying acts ive come across of late.......... Only a hand full of times have i been pleasantly surprised....... What are they afraid of? Cooties..........?

I find is firm handshake is the human way of peeing around a tree. Its like you are marking your territory. The territory being yourself.

I agree with nakamura: No one should be paid for doing nothing. If I was out of work I'd at least do some charity work.

@jebus, yeah my stepson was at a primary school that was basically crap. We were lucky enough to be able to take him out of there and into something better.

Twice in a week I've heard parents openly swearing in the playground when we go to pick up our boy.

Now they've lost my son's plimsoles that were clearly marked (twice) with his name and the compromise is that he can use the "spare pair" they have. I don't find that acceptable, they lost them on their time, so they can damn well replace them with a NEW pair and not the skank-pair that they have hanging around!!

Also, after PE he keeps coming home with his shoes on the wrong feet, meaning he's wearing them like that for hours on end, which isn't good for his feet.

Just not good enough imho and I'm debating whether or not I can do anything about it.
That's really bad tbh. I feel your pain, shame they don't.

This reminds me of a particularly irksome individual I often see on my way to work (he lives en route).

He a dole scrounging chav whom, I presume lives with parents or some family and -it would appear- does little else but smoke weed in his room and spit out of his bedroom window onto the road outside like this was Victorian England. (If he's really feeling adventurous though, he might stagger around in the street with a can of Special Brew in his hand.)

Anyway, there was a time a couple of years back when he would call out to me every single day from his bedroom window as I walked past. The conversation was something like this:

Chav: Oi mate, have you got any Rizla?
Me: No, I don't smoke. Sorry.

Despite me telling him that I didn't have any Rizla and didn't smoke, he still asked the next day. It happened so frequently, I started to think I was in a Groundhog Day loop.

My particular irk then, similar to yours is the fact that whilst I am getting up and going to work every day, this waste of space (who probably doesn't even have a single GCSE to his name) lives a rather meaningless, but carefree existence at my expense.

I still see him now and then, and I have to wonder just what use somebody like that could ever be to anyone, particularly an employer.

He can litter pick the streets 9-5 to earn his dole mate. Plenty of things need doing mate.

What is with this work ethic thing? I work when I have to, I'm not against it at-all and I'm not Lazy...but lets say, you get one life, you give a majority if it to a workforce or employer who couldn't care less about you...is it any wonder there are 'dole-scum' as you people are putting it.

You'll pay taxes no matter what, using dolies as a scapegoat, why not mention the politicians and their expenses, have you ever watched the House of Lords in action. Its a big Circus.

I'm not sitting on the fence and I'm not judging, but what has it do with you or anyone else that someone don't work, whilst you're tired with your business, it isn't that individuals fault. Unless of course its the old stuff about working to keep them.

It's an interesting point though. If their life is better than yours why not switch? If an uneducated chav scum can do it, so can we.

Doesn't have to be to what they are doing, but there's always a way of improving life.

Obviously not as my opinion is different.

People don't work for whatever reason. Sometimes it isn't through no fault of their own too.

People can be out of work and be productive, I can't remember the last time I didn't go out and maybe offer to carry something for someone, or just generally be nice...I am dole-scum?

The idea of work is for people to pull together to make the world go around so to speak. We have our luxuries in life and the majority are supplied by hard working people so what gives people the right to get everything for free?

Every car you drive, tv show you watch or game you play is the result of someone else hard work.

I don't drive, I sell everything I buy so I can buy again. I give to 3 charities even when I am out of work. I see your point tho, I really do.

If there was more of a togetherness, Like during the War? I'd be a modern day Polly-Anna.

Yeah i wasnt meant to be so dismissive. I hate working but I do it because I have to. Well I dont hate it but I am not enjoying my job as much since my reluctant promotion.

I still think if people are living off the state with no intention of working then after a set period of something they need to start doing some form of community work.
