well here for two tickets pop corn and coke for two people was 44 euro

I'd say between ?7-9 for a 2D ticket depending on where you live is about normal nowadays. Another ?1.50+ for 3D

Went to watch 'The Artist' in Copenhagen and it was about ?9 here, but I'd say everything on the whole is about 30% more than back in the Uk.
When we were in Estonia we went and watched Super 8 (which was new at the time) for ?3.50

So, roughly a quarter of a new game then?

Varies by cinema though. The Cineworld chain for example do a ?14 a month pass that gives you unlimited film tickets plus it runs bargain Tuesdays for ?4.50ish anyway. Meanwhile the Arthouse Cinema chain that spans at least a couple of East-Anglian counties also has a membership deal where you pay yearly and get 3 free tickets plus a healthy discount off the cover price. There's also Orange Wednesdays where people can get two for one and lots of cinemas put discount vouchers on the tickets, my local often does special meal deals for Bella Italia on the back of every ticket.

In a cinema, on different occasions, I have eaten:

A New York cheese cake, sainsburys, with 3 friends (during Die Hard 4)
              McDonalds on several occasions
Fish and Chips (I am Legend I think?)
Boots meal deal (the 3rd Mummy film I think)

My girlfriend is certain that she and her friend once ate a whole bucket of KFC in one too

**disclaimer: as you can tell these are old films as these were the rebellious antics of a teenage me, I realise it probably annoyed some people.

These days it's a bag of sweets or popcorn, a bottle of Irn Bru or perhaps something from the Ben & Jerrys counter if I'm feeling rich!

To be honest people eating in the cinema is an irk of mine, how on earth do some people manage to make eating so damn loud? And those idiots that talk through the film, funnily enough I'm there to see the product that has had millions of dollars invested in it and thousands of man hours of work, not to hear some smart alek's opinion on what's going on on the screen. And as for those people that laugh during horror movies or emotional scenes...

Work. And people at work that call themselves musicians on their Facebook pages instead of admitting that they work in a record shop. Playing guitar and hawking T-shirts and tote bags to your friends is not paying your rent...

I went to a cinema in Austin, Texas a couple of years ago, The Alamo Drafthouse. It's a combined restaurant and cinema, each row of seats has a big table in front of it. Despite the fact that everyone in there was eating a proper meal, it was virtually silent compared to the kind of noise you get in the average cinema over here! Food was good too.

I would extend that irk to train journeys. I don't know what it is, but people feel obliged to take a full meal onto a train no matter what time of the day they are travelling, and regardless of the actual length of their journey. People set out a full picnic set up before the train even gets it's engine going.

Bought a DDR pad from Canada - box was obviously official Konami. It arrives and there's two unofficial pads inside.

                            Really displeased.

It's just funny. One of the people at work is playing in a band that is still recording their first record and he walked into the canteen a couple of weeks ago with a T-shirt and a tote bag with his band's name on them, as well as randomly placing stickers in the locker room- for a band that most people quite literally haven't heard a note of music from yet. His FB page is a goldmine of him ranting against "sheep" for buying Adele CDs too, which is quite amusing in itself as both parties are indirectly putting food on his table and keeping a roof over his head.
