This should really go in the "makes you smile" thread, but continuing on with the theme of the last couple of posts, I remember at one firm I worked at before there was a "Randy P. Ennis" on the intranet org chart.

Sounds alright to me, just seems like HK post offices aren't as ruthlessly efficient as ours over here.

I think a likely explanation is that the package just sat around at the post office(or got temporarily waylaid) until the 28th.

I often look at pictures, from tattoos, to Clothed chics, and wildlife.

I sometimes click the image to enlarge, then, try and click back to my main search, low and behold, it just keeps going back to the site* I then have to click the back key multiples times and quickly, until I go that far back I'm actually on a site I visited an hour earlier!

*is there a way to undo what I've said....or is that just how some sites operate?

Film critics on Facebook- twelve hours into release day and opinions are being posted on Prometheus already. Can't they shut up until after the opening weekend or something? Seems like the only way to watch a film without knowing anything about it beforehand is to completely avoid every form of media prior to and immediately after release. At this rate I'm expecting to have to avoid tie-in Cornflake boxes when the Dark Knight Rises comes out.

Yeah, I'm having to drop off twitter for the next couple of days for fear of Prometheus spoilers.

General non-specific irk: stress. I'm a big ol' bundle of stress. Generally caused by me caring about what I do coupled with people who don't care about what they do. I don't get it. Why do anything if you're not going to do it well? Luckily I have a great team with me at work but the support network beyond that and outside suppliers, well, I may as well be dealing with monkeys. And that causes stress, insomnia and internal arguments and so on. Total waste of energy.

Nah, the guys are doing a great job at turning red to black. But there are bunch of other things that need to be pulled together and they're just getting messier and messier. I'll get it under control but I'll be a big bag of nerves until I do.

Been 3 days fixing this and because of this twattery I am going to have to cross my fingers they pull it out the bag before the end of today as we head into sat/sun/mon non-working days.
Looks like I will be streaming E3 from still pictures this year.

What's it supposed to be?

We had 0.5Mb/s like that for a few days(ours is 10Mb). For a good few months the line would reach 1-2Mb max on weekdays between 6pm and 11pm.

Not exactly related(although it could be) but what really gets my goat is that they say the traffic management is to make things fair for everyone yet the fastest users(50Mb, etc) are completely uncapped. I'm sure they're not in their own little boat and are sharing the bandwidth with the rest of us which means they should be the ones with traffic management to make things fair for everyone. It's frankly impossible that someone maxing out a 10Mb connection would slow things down for people more than someone maxing out 50Mb.

Other people and their inconsiderate and annoying ways (I'm not annoying at all ). Had a weird basement dweller type in front of me watching Prometheus today. He got up to go to the toilet during the trailers and on the way back stood at the front of the cinema apparently still doing his fly back up! I was thinking, 'Does he realise he is outside and that people can see him?'. Then during the film he goes again and on the way back idiotically walks backwards stopping a couple of times, once in front of me, to ensure he doesn't miss anything. Then towards the end he rustles around in a bag for ages before producing a litre bottle of milk to drink from

Next I needed to go to the supermarket which was absolute pandemonium with all sorts of wierdos, people getting in the way, mothers with small children letting them drag baskets around whacking people, all sorts.

I'm considering never leaving the house again.
