This country has never been out of the toilet. It's always had some type of scum dragging it down, chavs are just the most prominent right now. Your anger is due to one thing, you're getting older. Rose tinted glasses and additional miles on the old body clock tell you it was all fields, frolicking and rainbows when you were a lad. And yes, of course i'm talking from my own outlook as I become an old git.............

Running around a track only benefits the person doing it they get glory fame & attention, can't see it doing anyone else any good.

Do you even watch sport? Do you actually do any sports? People like Bolt inspire people, children. If it gets them out doing sports, meeting people and trying to make their lives better then it can only be a good thing.

These olympics have been wonderful for this country. It has shown the better side of a society that has been struggling for many years. Was it worth the cash? No idea i'm not an expert on this matter.

We are suffering huge problems with debt and depression but we need rays of light like sports, gaming, movies etc to keep us going, to make our lives better.

I meant physical condition. I'm interested to watch for entertainment how fast it can run, how high it can jump, how far it can run, etc etc. It is not my only interest in the human condition but as this is an Olympics irk its relevant.
