I'm actually a bit gutted now I didn't have the FORESIGHT to come up with a decent spectacle/should have gone to Specsavers-related quip when I was talking to the bloke.

People.
Should have gone to school today but there was an accident on the train line so I decided to skip today, and text my friend to let her know about delays. So she suggests we go do hot yoga...and her being well fit and all, I jump at the opportunity to mac on her all sweaty in TIGHT yoga stuff...until she cancels because she has to meet her lab group at school.
All is good I guess, we'll just go another time.

how unreliable technology is
mobile phones/laptops/tv/games console Always seems to be something going wrong i mean my android phone has crashed numerous times and now having battery problems.Been through about 3 xbox 360s tvs breaking all of a sudden (and usually after warranty has expired)
Fiances father bought a tablet system and a tv recently and both were faulty out of the box
Oh and Non disclosure agreements and embargos always hear about it in gamestrailers and that just annoys me as i wonder what kind of hold publishers do have over games sites (and also sure publishers would want people talking about there game )Last edited by eastyy; 10-11-2012, 11:11.

It's because all me are interested in is the price now. We have decided we have to have everything and NOW. Thus people on the dole deciding a 42" flatscreen is important. The only way for us to have everything is to buy products that are pared down to the bare minimum with low manufacturing tolerances, many of which will fall apart, but we don't complain much because we know it's cheap to start with "oh well, just buy another".

I ****ing hate that mentality.
I don't buy cheap stuff though, I buy good stuff used. I also understand that a little technical know-how and Google can solve pretty much any common problem. My father was impressed that he was able to fix his faulty CD player with such ease the other day. Nice to see such a contrast with most people's throwaway attitudes.
The one that especially makes me laugh is when people purchase a new PC/laptop because the old one is bogged down with virii/viruses.
