Windows vista is my current irk. After working on my parents 'new' laptop which is pretty recent but used, bought from a relative, holy crap, its the worst operating system I've ever used, bar none. Slow as balls and using 800+MB RAM on boot? Seriously?

Is it up-to-date with service packs, drivers, etc?

Well, it should be using more in that case, lets not pretend its memory management is like the Linux kernels.

It would be easy to change it in to a Super NEO 29, but that Hyper CP is like hens teeth on it's own. The only avenue I can now think of is joining NEO-GEO.com, and putting a wants thread up. REALLY don't want to do that though.

The reason I'm not going is because people whizz round this roundabout without stopping, without indicating and it's hard to tell which exit they're taking! But hey, I was just pulling out when you beeped and you made me stall. Arsehole.

If I pull out and get slammed into, you're certainly not going to go anywhere, 10 seconds of waiting won't kill you.

Good selection of lane abusers, lorries sat in 2&3 and my personal fave being the old git who believes as they are doing 70 they are allowed to sit in the outside lane and won't budge

Proprietory formats. My new Sharp PW-AC910 denshi jisho can read eBooks... as long as they're in XMDF format. I've never even seen this format.

Does Calibre support it? If so only drm'ed books won't convert.
