I got some very interesting videogame books. An Otaku magazine book with some lovely sprite art, and featuring some rather nifty products which will cost me money in 2010

Also an Atari book called Racing the Beam. I'm a big old school Atari fan and never heard of this. Looks like an interesting read.

The third book is Masters of Doom, the story of John Romero and John Carmack.

Also included in the package is a sprite art poster which is pretty nifty. Love these things.

I'm well impressed with my Secret Santa gift. I got a Sega Megadrive handheld with 20 games on it. Some of favourite megadrive games are on it as well. I?ve been playing Golden Axe and Shinobi III for most of the morning.

Looks like mine has arrived - opened an Amazon package today, to find something giftwrapped and with a tag saying 'From one Spurs fan to another, happy Christmas Tony.' I'm guessing that's my Secret Santa, and he/she has done some research on here, which is a really nice touch/gesture. It's under the tree, being saved for Xmas Day...

So, if it's you...thanks in advance! Unless it's a joke, and you've sent me a History of Arsenal, or something....
