If it's Onechanbara, the film is enjoyable nonsense. Worth watching with a few beers, it's like a silly version of the original Azumi. I liked it.

Did well myself. Got Resident Evil: The Darkside Chroncles with the Wii Zapper which will do very nicely. Stayed up until 4am playing it in coop with my brother last night, excellent stuff indeed.

More interestingly for me, I got money towards a new laptop to replace my old broken one. The Acer Aspire 5739G with a Core2 Duo T6600 2.2GHz, 4GB DDR3 1066MHz and GeForce GT 240M 1GB. Very chuffed with this

In all honesty I don't like people buying stuff for me though, it makes me feel guilty somehow. Obviously I return the favour every year, but I'd rather they saved their money (especially when I know they're short on cash anyway).

My biggest gift this year was a new coat, managed a copy of Assassin's Creed II on 360 and an as of yet useless power mat charge system (my brother bought it without realizing it needs separate charging units for each device)

Still, birthday next week so people still have a chance for redemption hehe.

The marketing for that power mat is evil as it never shows you an iphone/ipod or DS or PSP sitting in a dock ontop of that mat or with a special adapter.

All I got this year was a bottle of 'Apsinthion' absinthe (which I'm led to believe is not that great) and a 5 litre keg of Heineken (which IS great!) Oh, yeah, and a harmonica. Quite a minimalistic Xmas, this year.
