Are you absolutely sure it is a lie? The figure has been disputed as being an interpretation of guidance - some of which is statutory in Law and some not. The total is not in question, but the division of it. But you carry on and call him a liar.

I think you need to look at your own post for a bit of guidance over claims and scratching the surface ;-)

      This might interest you, Brats:

If he can’t keep the single best policy for reducing inequality – one that costs less than nothing – what shreds of progress can possibly survive his rule?

Cameron: The Department for Children, Schools and Families spent part of a ?3m refurbishment on a contemplation room with massage facilities for staff.
FACT? There is a physiotherapists' room as part of a gym provided in the basement of their building. However, it is self-financing ? costing a minimum of ?12 a month for staff ? and currently not in use as it is being used for storage

Sorry but if it's self financing who is going to pay to use a facility that is out of use? Would be interesting to see if this is a plan for self financing that falls short on income - much like the rest of the public purse.

The independent are incredibly anti-Tory so that article has to be taken with a handful of salt.

Is Methadone the best approach for heroin addicts? Should we adopt wider reaching EU extradition treaties? Should lots of money be pumped into experimental community programs?

Whilst the Tory's views may or may not be correct, the same is true of the Independent's views on these issues. These are complex problems worthy of debate.

Would be nice if we had papers which tried to be open rather than picking a candidate.

Johann Hari has been very anti-cameron for years, but it's nonsense that the Independent is an anti-tory paper. Writers like Bruce Anderson are very pro-Tory, which is why the paper has a balanced view:

Regarding the physiotherapists' room, obviously the cost is in the staff. if the room isn't being used, then there is no ongoing cost.

Another one from Anderson that couldn't be more rabidly Tory:

You are making an assumption that the staff are on a contract basis, per hour/day/visit. Equally they could be public employees claiming a nice salary and final salary pension(the point that kicked off my view of the bloated public services).

Go quote the figures for the current public pension - horrendous. Then add on the bloat that Labour are willing to commit to, as are Lib Dems. The Greens - your perference - are even worse - they want to provide a even more gilt edged fund at the moment - by raping the people who are providing for themselves with private pensions in the private sector.

If you think our roads are bad, try driving in Belgium. Terrible. Have to go through it briefly on the way to Nurburgring.
I don't give a flying **** about Belgium , what next our roads are better than those in Poland (which I would have to say they are) . We pay some of the highest taxes on our cars , never mind the fuel duty, and our roads just aren't up to standard .
Oh you drove in Germany , I think they're have far better roads, same for the USA , lower Car tax too , I would imagine

They all lie , Labour told us about an End to Bomb and Bust , how they was year on Year real terms increases in Defence spending , how Great Britain was uniquely and best placed to weather the recession , to be whiter the white , Eu Rebate non-negotiable period! , Britain to have Referendum on the Lisbon treaty, No Increases in NI .

Face it Labour are no better than the Tories , right down to sleaze . TAXI Please, Mr Byers

Actually I have to say I've met a lot of MPs and worked with a few, too, and the vast majority of them are in it for the right reasons and certainly don't lie.

+1 for this. Gonna cast my vote after we've put the lad to bed tonight.

That was certainly disappointing - I was expecting a proper comedy scream, not something near enough inaudible
