I recently took my kids to a local GS open day and it was pretty scary stuff. Books and books on the back story of all the races etc. and these guys seriously seemed to believe that what they were talking about was real....Trekkies look pretty tame by comparison

To be fair, the Warhammer 40,000k lore is pretty decent. There's no chance a film or game could ever do it justice, not even a WoW beater.
