It's easy to forget that advertisers live in the exact same world we do, maybe they called it Retardex on purpose knowing that it would generate word of mouth.
Yet, if asked, they always have the option of saying:
"Retardex? No! As if we would do that! Get your mind out of the gutter. We intended it to mean that it retards the development of tooth decay!"
All the while knowing exactly how it would stick in people's minds.
haha, is that the same theory that the ads for cilit bang were soooo bad / cheesy, that they knew people would spread the word?
