I hate dish washers. I know if I walked in on someone washing my dishes by flicking hot, soapy water on them I'd have a field day, but somehow it's just fine if a machine does it?

One of the Chips franchises of old, where I spent best part of 3 years (2002-2005) working in.
Met EvilBoris whilst working there, he came in to buy his Japanese Gamecube from us.
He couldn't wait to play it and asked us to bust that bad boy open and hook it upto the screen, whacked Eternal Darkness (exciting times) I was amazed by it, got on the phone to Lee @ VGI and ordered one myself.
I will never let him forget Japanese Import Doshin the Giant though, crazy swine.
Also met the now banned Fader209 whilst I was working there too, loads of awesome people who I still consider friends and loads I will still happily avoid when I'm out and about the city centre.

What? I don't think 'have a field day' means what you think it means.

I'd have a field day telling them off. I always thought it meant to go nuts doing something.

Well only if you were happy to have the opportunity to tell them off.

I suppose not, seeing as I'd rather not have to tell them off in the first place

Got my preliminary final exam results today, passed with a 2.1. That means I officially have a degree in Japanese language!

That also means I can definitely do my 2 year master's degree at Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto from September. I did my year abroad there last year so I already know people at the university. I found out last week that I'd been accepted for scholarship too, so it's a double whammy
