There are 2 reasons for a no response imo:-
    1) Like me you have no idea what to make of this. Are the claims credible? Why did Obama put a Presidential Degree against this? Is this a hoax?

    2) I am on a lot of people's ignore list

What do you think? to fantastic to be real?
What decree did Obama implement against it?

It looks more credible than the likes of timecube, mainly because it's a lot less rambling and obviously mental, but as Boris says, having a Paypal donation button doesn't exactly help its legitimacy.

And he's posted the plans to all major governments and invited them to a summit so we can all travel anywhere almost instantaneously and solve the world's energy problems at a stroke? Call me cynical, but I'm sure we'd have heard at least something about that before now.

Something that revolutionary would never be kept "open source" People would literally be KILLED for a company to get their greedy mits on the most lucrative invention since electricity itself.

        Its this one

Boris, so true that a company claiming such things is using an ancient website script. I also agree people would be killed if this tech got out, is this why no one knows about it and they choose to show everyone at once?

        http://www.keshefoundation.org/en/me...ove-march-2012 TUNE!!

These people are developing the space technology in with a team of scientist's in Iran 'apparently'. 23/24mins into vid. I have not watched all of it yet but I thought we were going to get a cheap 'person in a wheel chair trick'.

The whole thing is really weird and I can't get my head around it.

It's real allright, though I doubt it will actually see the light of day. Would set the established society upside down. WW3 probably.

          Naw, I know nothing.

Could everyone quieten down about our secret project? I don't want the feds coming round my house.
What's wrong with paypal anyway? It's like kickstarter.

Surely all someone would have to do is modify the deflectors to run an inverse tachyon pulse which would distrupt this magnotech and bring it crashing down? Sounds flawed to me.

It can't be long now until there is a robot capable of going down the shops to get me some beer.

Strange how creepy I found watching that robot move.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. Even if they did all become sentient and start climbing the stairs after you, there power supply will run out before it took its 4th step :/

Yeah me too, you kinda expect a robot to move in a robotic way, not in a really natural looking way.

Couple of interesting robot things on New Scientist. One a DARPA challenge: http://www.newscientist.com/blogs/on...challenge.html one about some wearable robot arms: http://www.newscientist.com/article/...e-you-two.html

Just been reading this article on BBC News:

Synthetic sticky material based on the way geckos climb, could be applied in medicine, clothing, and even used to make a real Spider-Man suit.

                          Watch the video!

                          So cool!

This was quite interesting too but I've heard similar things before: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-20217737

And Fujitsu's president reckons brain jacks are on the way (bottom of article): http://www.channelregister.co.uk/201...su_cto_vision/

I wasn't even aware students were taking 'smart' drugs to improve their grades. As the article pointed out though, it does rise a lot of issues if this type of stuff ever goes mainstream - mandatory drug taking for lorry drivers, airline pilots etc...

This sort of reminds me of that X-Files episode with the vietnam vet who had an experiment performed on him which resulted in him never needing to sleep!

I don't think anyone has posted this one, although it was mentioned in an earlier post:

Saw it last night on 'How to Build a Bionic Man' on C4. The show was worth watching and had a very impressive robotic arm/prosthetic being developed by DARPA/the US military. http://www.channel4.com/programmes/h...bionic-man/4od
