I have only tried the takeaway so far which was a bit hit or miss - had a decent enough chicken katsu curry and some fair tempura, but nearly all of the sushi was wildly overpriced. The focus is clearly on the teppanyaki; there is a huge amount of tables out back. You must live a stone's throw from me mate, if you ever fancy checking it out and are short on numbers feel free to drop me a message

Would prefer sushi but we're going back to Japan soon so I guess we could wait and give their teppanyaki a go. We also just visited Iceland where we had plenty of fish (and whale), and the disgusting pickled Shark we tried on the last evening has put me off seafood at the moment!

By the way, I saw the Metro advertising a 1 month trial of the Taste London card which can be used at Sen nin for 50% off the food bill so it's worth a look. See here.. http://www.tastecard.co.uk/trial/metro

I frequent Kurumaya near St Pauls now and then. You can do the conveyor belt or, my preference, book a table downstairs.

I love their Tempura and often have that with the sushi set.

I've always been a big fan of Toku at the Japan Centre.

I've been to Kulu Kulu Sushi in Covent Garden a couple of times. Not unreasonable prices and pretty nice, as far as I can tell, though I'm no expert. It seems like a good lunch option. They do free mugs of green tea, which totally makes me happy.
