I found him highly amusing but he did seem to have a lot of warnings.

One thing I never understood though was his hatred for most forms of gaming. Baffling.

I always thought that his posts were heavily laced with sarcasm, so I quite liked some of the abrasive ones. I'm guessing that the comments thread for Sony's E3 conference was the final straw, though.

Seany is well these days, and found a new love of his life. He went through a really ****ty patch (I mean seriously seriously bad, thought we were gonna lose him), but he's good now. You can find Seany on twitter too, but I'm not gonna post it here.

I found Kernow very knowledgeable and helpful when I was asking about cabs.

Most of the other time, reading his posts about anything gaming, he always came across that he hated the whole concept!

He knows his arcade stuff though, if you go over to Arcade Otaku he still posts frequently etc. I did agree with many of his viewpoints but didn't necessarily agree with his way of expressing them..

No. As Neil2k has already said, Kernow was given multiple warnings for several things but continued on with the same attitude. It's always a shame to see long term members banned, but if someone is consistently breaking rules they have to expect a response at some point, especially when they've been given several chances to behave themselves.

I know Im not a blue at the moment so its a bit rich coming from me, but have you thought of advertising on facebook? I know the charm of this site is not to have idiots spamming everywhere like on other boards but it makes sense. I think you can target specific ages and likes.
