What does everyone make of the OBL compound map on Counterstrike?

I worship the Sun. It creates and provides everything. I actually believe it has a consciousness to some effect, I thought that long before that ****ty Danny Boyle film too.

Interesting belief. I'm not exactly sure why, but your post brings to mind the belief some people have that since everything, all matter, all energy, was connected at one point at the time just before the big bang, that everything is one consciousness, albeit experiencing itself subjectively, and that all life, including human beings, have a library of universal knowledge tucked away in their DNA.

Anyway, getting back on track, anybody see Panorama a couple of nights ago? It focused on what the Americans say happened during the mission to kill/capture Bin Laden, although the picture it painted was definitely a kill, not capture, mission. But who knows, he may be sitting in US hands somewhere being interrogated for all we know.

Wonder if they will mention the Navy Seal team that shot Osama and dumped him at sea were all shot down when the Taliban hit their copter with a surface to air missile.

Then the Taliban that shot the Navy seals that killed Osama got carpet bombed and they are all confirmed dead.

You couldn't make this up could you?!?

Saw it advertised and planned on watching it, but when I realised it was on for 100 minutes I decided to give it a miss fearing it would contain too much 'filler'. Was it any good, did it shed any new light on the operation, did it come across as a 'capture or kill' mission as we were told or an assassination?

With regards to the helicopter the Taliban shot down, my understanding is the men on board the chopper belonged to the same unit as the team who took part in the killing of Osama Bin Laden but they were not the same men.

It's impossible to trust anything surrounding the official word on how Bin Laden was killed and if it was avoidable or not now really.

Especially since the story was change from "Bin Laden used his wife as a human shield and tried to shoot at the Seals" to "Bin Laden's unarmed wife was shot as she ran towards the seals, the seals then shot the unarmed Bin Laden"

Decided on Xenoblade instead. As I don't trust US/UK foreign policy, Obama or the whole war of terror I knew the program would rub me up the wrong way.

It was seals involved with the alleged Osama operation who got shot down along with other US forces personnel. What are the odds hey?
