Well it seems to be dying off now, the rain hasn't helped as we all know chav's hate anything that reminds them of bathtime. The most annoying thing is constantly seeing on TV or hearing people trying to justify why the looting has taken place with the constant 'because of Labour', 'because of the Tories', 'because the education system has failed them', 'because society doesn't respect today's youth' etc which is frankly all bollocks. Regardless of who was in power this was going to happen and there has always been the rock bottom class of lazy arse, inbred, prats we've been seeing kicking in the windows of your local JD Sports. There were certainly additional factors as to why it initially began in London but beyond that it's simply the actions of rejects who aren't just stealing items from shops, but also precious oxygen from the rest of us.

Such strong, violent statements. And understandable. But, like with the thugs smashing windows and stealing from shop owners, I personally feel it's a shame such energy and power only comes out now, directed where it seems to serve little positive purpose long-term.

Just to add.... I'm certainly not naive to this sort of behaviour, my word... some of the schools i worked at had their own riots pretty much everyday. Its something i've always felt, not just now: there are too many idiots out there, selfish people, people without remorse, people who'd rather kick you in the face than give you a smile, people who would rather take your psp rather than offering aid, people who'd want to stab you because he didn't like the look of you (ahem, this hadn't twice in ONE collage i worked at...)

These riots are just a consequence of there being so many of these types of people. This was always going to happen imo, and was fairly minor compared to how it could have gone....

Whether rioting or not, it is a common thought of mine that it is a shame there isn't a magic button that can round up the types of people mentioned above - whatever their so-called excuse - I had a ****ty childhood too, i turned out okay - and just press a button and make them vanish. The world would be a better place :-)

Maybe I'm crazy or think too much, but I've often thought how much better life would be if people were like consoles. A firmware patch or region mod to make them 'less of a bastard'.

I saw that bit of footage I was talking about again today. I didnt realise it at the time, but the drugged up idiot was actually partly blaming ppl rioting on "the Polish" not "the Police" as I thought I had 1st heard, & said we havent got any jobs because of them.

What a f**kin terrible excuse! The Polish, along with other European people in this country are doing the jobs that ppl like him REFUSE to do. They're the 1's who take on the cleaning jobs, the slaughterhouse/factory jobs, the farm work/fruit picking jobs & working in cafes/restaraunts for minimum wage & minimum holidays/no Bank Holiday entitlement & many of them are well educated to do better, whereas ppl like him sit on their arse all day or as I've heard these kind of idiots say: "I'm not getting out of bed for less than ?10 an hr".
If people like this guy (& theres plenty of them everywhere) are gonna refuse these jobs then someone else has to do it.

Its always someone elses fault with these kind of ppl. Forcing them to look for mines in afghanistan isnt a bad idea. Just make sure you send them out there with just a small stick to poke the ground with, & near an Al Quaeda stronghold with a Union Jack flag wrapped around them!

What does he expect "I was going to condemn these rioters and looters but then I remembered a few MPs broke some rules and some more talked to people whom it used to be fashionable to talk to but now it isn't!
