Hmmm... does that come from the same school as Shaun of the Dead's dogs can't look up?

@nonny: You could've said it's because of the latest update, thus leaving you in the clear

It's too small a thing to google.
@toythatkills: Are unintentional penis jokes allowed? See above.

In your lifetime you swallow something like 5 spiders in your sleep.

That was a good little discovery until it was admitted that someone made the whole thing up to see how false information can spread and then be taken as truth.

Another small discovery was made from this - that the person who made this up is ****.

The song "The Best" was originally recorded by Bonnie Tyler, not Tina turner.

Sperm whales can handle over 1.5 ton per square inch of their body. That fact will always be with me, its amazing.

The correct name for one of these -> #

                is 'octothorpe'

Found out reading a Mac magazine in a doctor waiting room some years ago.

It used to be thought that humans only dream in black and white. However modern humans are known to dream in colour.

The reason for this is thought to down people's incresed exposure to colour over the decades, both in terms of print and TV.

                        It's true: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/science/s...me-dreams.html

                        And a new fact:

There are 14 types of spider capable of biting in the UK, you can even be bitten by money spiders.

The two worst species for bites, the tube web and the false widow spiders are becoming more and more common in the south.

You can't get diabetes from eating too much sugary food. You can, however, get it from being overweight as a result of doing so.

Renders childhood scaremongering over excessive Chewit consumption null and void.

I've defo chomped a spider in my sleep. I remember waking up crunching something and feeling all these little bits in my mouth.

I had a nightmare-ish experience with spiders once that scared the crap out of me. Never eaten one, I think...
