For me, anything with the Nac Mac Feegles in it has me snorting out loud! But they are all classics!

Well I read Going Postal, which was excellent. Very funny and quite clever in places. Then I read Making Money, which was also really good but didn't quite have the driving force of Going Postal, though I did love Gladys. And then I read one called Interesting Times, about Rincewind in what seemed to be the Discworld equivalent of China. That wasn't great to be honest.
So, what's up next?
Thinking Fifth Elephant or the Thief of Time one.

That's community spirit right there. Was just clearing out my room today and noticed the bookshelf was a little overflowing so could do with losing a few. Not sure it would have worked anyway with you living where you do lol. That offer is open to anyone who is interested btw...I may actually pop a post on the "It's for free" thread with the others I have decided to let go.
How are you finding the Kindle? We thought about getting one for our Mum (the ?89 one) for Xmas but for some reason didn't go with it in the end...mainly because Mum uses the library I guess.

I'm loving the Kindle. It doesn't really do anything a book doesn't do and yet I find myself reading more with it. Maybe it's just the handiness? It's as easy on the eyes as a book, which is great - not like staring at a computer monitor.

Couple of months ago my girlfriend found a dozen Discworld paperbacks at work. A former employee had owned the books and left them behind when he'd resigned. My g.f. kept them and read them all. When she was reading one of the books in a cafe, I idly flicked through the other she had in her bag. Noticed an iconic signature which she hadn't noticed before. Turns out most of the inherited paperbacks were signed by Terry Pratchett himself!
