I was in my kitchen as I needed a knife to get the cellophane off of the box. Instead of then going to sit on the sofa, I just opened it right there and then. The vacuum created by the lid caused it to pop out and the next thing it's on the floor. I actually left it there for about 25 minutes whilst I made beans on toast. I went back hoping it was just a dream.

Sod it. I'll man up and go and buy another one later.

Don't worry, the new new new new iPad is coming out for Christmas and your current one was obsolete halfway between leaving the box and when it hit the floor.

I once dropped a whole bowl of spaghetti bolognese onto a friend's brand new carpet.
It rolled out of my hands in slow-motion.
I ran off to get some carpet shampoo but it wouldn't come out, it just made it all stringy and a different colour from the rest of the carpet.
I nearly had a heart attack.

My friend claimed on the insurance as it was only a day or so old, got new carpet for the lounge and moved the other carpet to the bedroom. Win/win. Everything's coming up Millhouse.

It's not so bad. Apple will give me a brand new one for ?250 plus my broken one. It just means I can't have that hooker tonight now.

Why not do a series of videos of you "unboxing" your new iPad then proceed to do things like hammer in a nail, play tennis or flip pancakes on it?
