Best I can do, sorry. BUT if you buy a pen and a sticker at the same time you could write Opal Fruits and stick it to the side of the pack?

I am actually old enough to remember Opal Fruits and the name change, although I am too young for the whole Snickers/Marathon change... I also remember Jif turning into Cif, for some reason

        Eh?

The Marathon-Snickers & Opal Fruits-Starburst name changes happened around the same bloody time (End of the 1980s)!

No, that's not true. Snickers has been called Snickers my whole life. Opal Fruits were renamed to Starburst in 1998 according to Wikipedia (and I remember being mystified and somewhat disappointed at the time).

You're correct about Opal Fruits. My bad - I misread Wikipedia, thought it was 1988!

Marathon changed to Snickers in 1990. I was born in 1982, and I remember eating a "Marathon" bar, as well as Marathon ads on TV. So more power to ya if you were born after 1990!

Yep I was born in 1990, and being around 8 when Opal Fruits changed sounds about right!

That would've made me 16 at the time.

                God, I feel old now!

^I just Wikid them, they look a tad like Penguin biscuits. Are they similar?

For me, the NOBUNAGA of biscuits is the Lidl version of the milk chocolate 'Leibniz'-style biscuit, just enter Lidl and peruse the biscuit subsector, I've forgotten the name but that's some hotter-than-hell Leibniz action going on, right there. Plus it's well-cheap, for what you get. Absolutely amazing.

It's like the biscuity bit is just an afterthought, and it's primarily just good old Teutonic choccety goodness.

I like the big chunky cookie things from Tesco. Choco chip with a layer of chocolate on one side. 8 in a pack in a tray. Can't remember the brand or name.

Does nobody own the rights to classic biscuit decoration? If you buy malted milk from Fox's the exact same cow near a fence image can also be seen on Aldi's own... and every other brand for that matter. Same for your custard creams and your bourbons.

Just an observation I have just made.
