At one stage it even falsely identified errors in its own auto-generated code. Now, I'm aware of a bad workman blaming his tools, but...

Hardware incompatibilities.
Got a blazing new motherboard with on-board USB 3.0, but since it's a X79 board, the USB controller is a third-party on board chip. And apparently my video capture card only likes third-party USB 3.0 controller chips from NEC. Had to dig out the PCI expansion card I had on the previous non-USB 3.0 PC and use it in order to acquire video.
Next time, Blackmagic, make a USB capture platform that doesn't require a particular controller brand to work, please.

Potholes
Tyre repair kits that dont work on potholed tyres
Car manufacturers that dont put spare wheels in any more
Luckily i'm in the RAC , but a flat bed truck to bring back a car with a puncture is crap.
Recovery guy went through the same pothole himself and described it as a "crater". 225/40 18 tyres aint cheap. How do i go about getting some compo out the council?
ggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

EA:
So, it turns out I'd hidden BF3 from my games list. A forum post followed up by a tweet to EA with a link to the forum post got a response telling me exactly what I'd done. So, why am I not posting in the smile topic? Because I spent 50 minutes waiting to speak to an EA support dude last week followed by a 20 minute conversation that resulted in him telling me that Windows 8 wasn't supported.
Slightly embarrassed that the lack of BF3 was a product of my own doing of course!

That's a little like the time I failed to buy a Bob Dylan album from iTunes. It was just after a major iTunes update and I went to buy it, but there was a problem (some connection error or something). Didn't bother to try again but, later that day, was looking to redownload a different album from my iTunes list and I noticed there was the Bob Dylan album in my iCloud list. But I was pretty sure the sale hadn't gone through. I checked my recent purchases and there was no sign of it. There was no hint I would be charged for it at all.
So being the good citizen that I am, I mailed them to let them know there may be an exploit and I managed to get a free album from them. They quickly mailed me back to let me know that the reason it was in my iCloud list was that I had already bought that album about a year before. Oh... Felt like a bit of a tit.

People who are paid lots of money because they simply have BEEN PRESENT for a long time. Are they good at their job? NO. Do they make bad decisions? YES.
...But they have worked in the same place for YEARS! Years of not being good at their job and years of making bad decisions. So that's fine. Lets pay them lots of money.
Annoys the f*ck out of me.
