South Africa, my friend is over there taking a year out to volunteer and study animal conservation before doing her masters and I'd had a really rubbish few weeks on a paediatrics ICU placement that I hadn't been prepared for, i.e. a particularly unbelievable/nasty case of abuse and a couple of hard to take deaths was emotionally taxing and put me in a "prickly" mood so by the end I decided to just get away from it and she'd said she was sick of living from a backpack so we booked into a nice Spa hotel, went nature hiking and lounged on a beach.

Long way to go for a weekend break.

On a serious note, why don't people love Bayonetta.

I can't possibly imagine who you might be talking about but I'm sure he actually adores Daft Punk, thinks Discovery is one of his favourite albums and pretty much lives on the Tron Legacy soundtrack. It's likely whoever you are referring to actually thinks so highly of Daft Punk that he doesn't think they need to do the David Guetta-type guest appearances on their tracks and isn't a fan of Pharrell, who was played out in the early 2000s. I have no doubt this person doesn't mean to hate on Daft Punk themselves.

Discovery does have a few random vocal collberations does it not? It's just that nobody had heard of them, which is pretty much what I thought when I looked at the list of People on the new album

It does I think. Or at least they're sampled? Not sure. Either way, they aren't kind of like special guest stars the way Kanye or Guetta might do it.
