Getting ready to go pick up the moving van, looking outside my flat and realising there isn't a single parking space anywhere in the street for when I get back. I'm going to be totally shattered getting the bloody thing loaded before I even get on the road. ****ing London.
Irk two of the day (not even eight o'clock yet). Get a taxi to the van hire place, driver barely speaks English, end up having to switch the sat nav on in my phone and hold it up like a twat for the full journey so that he can figure out where to go. ****ing London.Last edited by Colin; 07-05-2013, 06:42.

Woke up yesterday, had a workman over to fix a window, then my mentally ill neighbour started banging on my door because he'd locked himself out, then had another workman out to fix our phone line, which took nearly three hours. During this the guy was constantly harassed by my neighbour's father as his phone line wasn't working either, which just made the workman brusque and short with me.
After all of that my wife discovered that she's been overtaxed on her last pay packet so I had to work that out for her, then had to start measuring up windows for blinds, which led to an argument over which type of blind to get... and then I completely forgot that I'd booked tickets to see Star Trek, so that was ?25 down the drain.
Should've stayed in bed!

I'm having one of those days too, Decider.
6 hours worth of work in photoshop and of course it unexpectedly crashes losing all my stuff. Went to do some shopping. Bought some wilkinson sword blades and a couple of other bits and bobs only to find the noob checkout operated hadn't put them in the bag she was packing. ?20 worth of stuff I'm down. Still have the receipt I guess but that's not stopped me from feeling pissed off.

Well, today made up for it- finished Ocarina of Time again, started Super Mario 3D Land (which seems great so far) and the cinema were really nice about me being a complete twit and are letting us go on Tuesday for no extra cost.
If you take the receipt to the shop and explain what happened you're more likely to get your blades than not!
