Opera wtf, i can imagine you sat there searching via Lycos, on an old dell tower running windows 95, with the biggest monitor know to man which despite its large size can only displays at 640x480. browsing the net via your AOL CD your rocking a copy of winamp, with music filled from Napster. Your also chatting away to your friends via Yahoo! instant messenger.

Obviously I would use an AOL CD but it wont work with Ubuntu. Or cable broadband.
I get all my music from audio galaxy.
                I use vanilla MSN messenger.
                The above are all lies.

The ?100 coin coming out soon

How great would it be to be able to fill the car up with petrol and get change from a coin. Not that any of these will ever see general circulation.

I actually like the idea of high denomination coins, having a pile of them would make me feel like a pirate or a highwayman.

You could keep them in a treasure chest!

There used to be some 5 pound coins, I saw a couple at work. Generally gold and silver coins have a face value:

                            $2500

You know silver is less than $20/oz right now? You could be a low-grade Scrooge McDuck for under 10k.

just don't try Indecent Proposal-ing unless you want head trauma.

This is pretty amazing if true

Hacker Jan Krissler claims to have cloned the fingerprint of a German politician using standard photographs taken at an event.

Just saw an advert for this

I'm sure at some point we've all had the compulsion to build a giant spider skeleton or a miniature T-rex or some other selection of fact files to be kept in a folder. As a child it usually went the route of buy the first issue for a couple of quid, then get ripped off when the subsequent issue costs 3 times as much, 3 issues later and your newsagent doesn't bother to order and more or sells the only copy they got to someone else.

Anyway, this one is a 1:1 scale replica of the movie prop used to film star wars. Your's for the princely sum of ?2.99*

                                *normal price ?8.99

                                100 issues...

So the grand total of ?890 for something you are going to have to build yourself. Crazy.
