Edit: today's good thing- I had a phone interview with a guy for a development job and we ended up talking about retro gaming. I may have gone overboard with praise for Assault Suits Valken, if such a thing is possible. I can't quite believe that it even came up, though!

I don't really think we should be calling out other forum members in the irk thread (wouldn't seem cool) but I'm going to call out someone in this thread. Yesterday evening, I saw one forum member totally diffuse a discussion that could have ended up heated because another forum member's tone was way too antagonistic. The forum member didn't back down, didn't end up wrong and yet completely disarmed it with humour which allowed everyone to move on. I thought, wow, that's how to handle that and it made me smile to see someone lead by example and be the better man, especially as I was the one who was being too antagonistic and I could learn from it. That person was Guts and it made me smile and, today, I figured I should share that. He deserves the kudos.

So kudos, Guts.
